Question by storyofstuff.com:
If i planted crocuses on a grave site that?
doesnt allow planting anything, because it obstructs the lawn mowers at the grave yard , but crocuses are bloomed and dead before the grass is ever cut . ” ohio” do you think they would sit and dig them all up , or just run them over in the spring, which would be ok cause they ll come back anyway?
i think its a great idea, but my mom thinks theyll dig each one up,, that would be like 400 little bulbs, i doubt they ll do that … what do you think ?

you got it right ! If you were to plant them in the fall they will be up for Spring and the grass is not long enough for them to cut them down therefore they will survive for a short time and then they will mow the grass and cut them down but the bulbs will remain until the next Spring . They will not dig them up but you could be breaking some rules of the Cemetery if they said no flowers are to be planted it should stay that way , perhaps it would go unnoticed for a bit but eventually the bright colour will give them away or someone could report you , so probably you are best to plant them in your garden and when they come up cut them and make a nice bouquet to bring to the grave site , this way you will enjoy them as well and you will get to visit your loved one .
