If you have ever tripped over the extension cord while maintaining your lawn or garden, you will appreciate the cordless electrical grass shears. The key to any good cordless product is the battery. You want shears that runs the maximum amount of time between battery charges so that yo can complete the entire job on one charge. However, if you have a bigger lawn or garden, the corded version may be a better choice as cordless electrical grass shears will only normally last between 1-2 hours from a single battery charge.

3. Gas Powered Grass Shears

   This range of grass shears cost the most and are meant for really very large lawns or gardens. Most models allow you to ride on them while cutting the grass.

It is not necessary that you buy an expensive new pair of grass shears for yourself. Some second hands ones will still serves its purpose if they are maintained well . A garage or yard sale is a good place to pick up used grass shears that are in good conditions. For the bigger types like gas powered grass shears, there are options for you to rent them instead of buying.
